Hit and Run in southeast Austin Leaves One Dead
Texas Department
of Public Safety is now investigating a pedestrian hit and run that occurred
last December 6 at FM 973 near Tesla Road. The victim was found by a citizen
who was just passing by and notified the authorities. According to initial
reports, the probable vehicle may be a Dodge Ram Pickup. No other information
is available as of the moment and Texas DPS is asking the help of possible
witnesses to come out and provide clarity to the incident. The state is not a
very safe place for pedestrians. In 2016, more than 600 pedestrians died from
crash accidents and this is one of the highest in the country.
